The sun, sinking slowly towards a lake. Wrapped in myself I follow, blinded, the gold taking my eyes and wrapping them in this glowing box lined with perfectly reflective foil. I am a lizard in this sun. It is offering me an apple. It shines fiercely at me, bullying my perspective.
In the morning, the sunshine through the bedroom window was more brilliant than ever.
