In youth the absence of pleasure is pain,
in old age the absence of pain is pleasure.
Somedays you just have to grasp the burning rod and embrace the pain.
The blisters won't last forever.
Some think of pain as color – a blue pain, for example, or a checkered pain.
Some think of it in terms of music – a pain like a trombone, or a piccolo.
And pain in the past tense, recalled, often has an almost academic aura about it.
But pain in the here-and-now, at this very moment – Aiyiyi. It cannot be rationalisec.
An uncomfortable sensation, often caused by the good fortune of one someone dislikes.
pain is the indicator that there is something wrong inside of you. pain wants to tell you something. look at it. don't kill it. examine carefully the cause of the pain.
