Voodoo is the art of sticking pins into dolls in order to cause people harm. I'm sure voodoo has to do with other things as well, but as I am an ignorant Northerner and have never been to Louisiana, the doll-sticking is the extent of my knowledge. Although it may also have something to do with shrunken heads.
